Music Events Support and Management – BTEC Level 3 Certificate

Develop skills in planning, promoting, managing and staging live music events here at The Factory. An opportunity to study and carry out valuable work experience in the live music and events industry.

Junior Record Label Executive – NCFE Level 3 Certificate

Develop skills in publishing marketing, promoting and distribution of new breaking artistes signed to Petroc’s own record label – Cheeky Monkey Records. You will work with these artistes and the promotion and management of their repertoire

Contemporary studio recording techniques for those interested in starting their own studios or working in the recording industry. Bespoke sessions tailored for each small group.

Recording Production

An advanced course after the recording engineering programme is completed for those who wish to produce music to a
professional standard in their own studios or working in the industry. Bespoke sessions tailored for each small group.

Work Experience at The Factory

Recording Engineering

We are extremely proud to give all of our students the opportunity to gain work experience here at The Factory. We are committed to deliver a real music industry experience in the best vocational working environment possible. This includes working in The Factory music venue, recording studio or for our in house record label. With a capacity of up to 500 people The Factory is a flexible venue attracting both national and internationally touring artists.

If you are not one of our students, you might wish to volunteer or think about an ‘Internship’ with the events management team.
